The Baby Show – to go or not to go

Posted by Paul on October 11, 2009

thebabyshowSo next friday is the start of The Baby Show at Earls Court – and I am still unsure whether we are going to go or not.

On the one hand the decision will be made if I don’t get paid by one of my clients on Monday – money is, as the song says, too tight to mention.

But even if I do get paid will it be a worthwhile expense? I have already missed out on the cheaper ticket offers so the cheapest ticket cost is over £30 for the two of us. Add to that the cost of getting to Earl’s Court – either a pricey parking space, or a cheaper but more hassle-inducing tube trip.

Then there is food and drink costs while we are there, as well as trying to make the trip worthwhile by picking up some bargains.

Being a Credit-Crunch dad makes the decision quite difficult. I would like to go along to learn some more about products that would be good for my baby and family, but is the overall cost too excessive?

I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday to find out what I can afford, and whether I’ll be at home or not next Friday!
